Bio

Michèle Francken heeft zich kunnen ontplooien en een carrière opbouwen als mode, still life en portretfotograaf. Samen met haar vader Lucien en haar broers Claude en Philippe hebben ze de NV CPM Francken opgericht in de jaren 80 in Gent. Snel bloeide de zaak uit tot een gevestigde waarde in de streek en zelfs tot buiten de grenzen.

De gedrevenheid en nieuwsgierigheid van de fotografe Michèle Francken leidde haar steeds op zoek naar haar eigen fantasierijke verbeelding waar schoonheid en verbondenheid steeds centraal staan.
Intuïtief tracht zij deze twee krachten te verzoenen.

Met haar onuitputtelijke inspiratie om de toeschouwer telkens te verrassen leidt zij hem naar een zoektocht naar harmonie die een gevoel van rust en vrede met zich meebrengt.
Een wereld die zij in haar oorspronkelijke kracht wil tonen, intens en puur, in evenwicht met alles wat leeft.

Michèle Francken a pu développer et construire une carrière de photographe de mode, de natures mortes et de portraits. Avec son père Lucien et ses frères Claude et Philippe, ils ont fondé la NV. C.P.M Francken dans les années 80 à Gand. L'entreprise s'est rapidement épanouie pour devenir un nom établi dans la région et même au-delà des frontières.

Le dynamisme et la curiosité de la photographe Michèle Francken l'ont toujours conduite à la recherche de son propre imaginaire où la Beauté et l’Union avec le Vivant sont toujours centrales.
Intuitivement, elle tente de réconcilier ces deux forces.

Avec son inspiration inépuisable pour surprendre le spectateur, à chaque fois elle l'entraîne dans une recherche d'harmonie qui génère un sentiment de calme et de paix.
Un monde qu'elle fait naître par l’image dans sa puissance originelle, intense et pure, en équilibre avec tout ce qui vit.

Michèle Francken has been able to develop and build a career as a fashion, still life and portrait photographer. Together with her father Lucien and her brothers Claude and Philippe, they founded NV. C.P.M Francken in Ghent in the 1980s. The company quickly blossomed into an established name in the region and beyond.

Photographer Michèle Francken's dynamism and curiosity have always led her in search of her own imaginary world, in which Beauty and union with the Living are always central.
Intuitively, she tries to reconcile these two forces.

With her inexhaustible inspiration to surprise the viewer, each time she draws them into a search for harmony that generates a feeling of calm and peace.
A world that she brings to life through images in their original power, intense and pure, in balance with all living things.
